Tracy is an actor, writer, and singer/songwriter based in NYC.
Tracy recently filmed an episode of “Everything’s Trash”, and is in the upcoming film SUMMER SOLSTICE. She recently guest starred on FBI: Most Wanted (CBS) and recurred in the role of “Susan Duntsch” in Dr. Death (NBC). Tracy also co-starred on God Friended Me (CBS), The Sinner (USA), and as “Abigail Bell” in TNT’s The Alienist ,with Luke Evans, Grace Zabriskie and Morfydd Clark. Recent Off Broadway theatre includes “Ellen Scott” in The Price of Thomas Scott at the Mint Theater, the dual roles of Alexander Pushkin’s mother-in-law and his devoted serf in the world premiere of PUSHKIN at the Sheen Center, and “Maria”, the title role in The Dressmaker’s Secret, in a sold out run at 59 E 59.
Recent Broadway includes the role of “Bobo MacDonald”, the Scottish nanny, in the highly acclaimed production of The Audience, starring Helen Mirren and directed by Stephen Daldry, and “Lady Montague” in David Leveaux’s stunning production of Romeo & Juliet, starring Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad.
Previously Tracy has performed on Broadway as “Harper” in Angels In America, (with Kathleen Chalfant and Cherry Jones), “Jan” in Shimada, (with Ellen Burstyn and Estelle Parsons), “Marianne” in The Miser, (with Phil Bosco, Thomas Gibson and Carole Shelley), and her first job in New York City was playing “The Parlourmaid” -and occasionally “Dolly”- in You Never Can Tell (with Uta Hagen and Victor Garber).
Tracy debuted at the Metropolitan Opera House, Lincoln Center as “Ida” in Die Fledermaus. Her Off Broadway credits include “Claire” in Aristocrats at the Manhattan Theatre Club, “Arline” in the Sloan Foundation production of Moving Bodies at the Ensemble Studio Theatre, “Lady Eastlake” in The Countess at the Lambs Theatre, “Annie” in The Shaggs: Philosophy of the World at the NYMF/Beckett Theatre and “Amelia” in The Wax at H.B. Playwrights, to name a few.
Regionally, Tracy has performed leading roles at the Guthrie Theatre, The Alley Theatre, The American Repertory Theatre, Hartford Stage, Yale Repertory Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, The McCarter Theatre, The New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, Portland Stage Company, The Apollo Theatre, Chicago, The Pittsburg Public Theatre, Arizona Theatre Company and many others.
Film credits include The Renovation (with Skipp Sudduth and Forbes March), Flannel Pajamas, (with Justin Kirk and Julianne Nicholson) H.O.L.E., Loser, (with Jay O. Sanders) and Mia Dillon’s Quiet .
On television, Tracy has guest starred and co-starred on seven different episodes of Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Tracy has co-starred on Blue Bloods and Unforgettable and had a recurring role as the Mayor’s wife, “Mrs. Kathryn Bader”, on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire.
Tracy has an extensive voice over career including television commercials, radio, narration, promos, cartoons and recorded books.
As a singer, she is featured on Brian Hugh O’Neill’s CDs Free World and Look Back Tomorrow. Tracy is a proud member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, AGMA and Maestra and the Dramatists Guild and holds a B.F.A. with honors in Theatre Arts and Film from SUNY @ Purchase.
